The Guest Experience Supervisor (Seasonal Events) provides leadership to guest experience teams during special events outside regular zoo hours, ensuring safe operations, entry processes, rentals, and communication. This role serves as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Manager, overseeing event operations and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

•Provide outstanding customer service to guests by being welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic.
•Ensure all members of the team are effective in their ability to provide quality experiences to Zoo guests by conducting frequent staff training, mentoring, and observation of team performance. •Serve as the Manager on Duty, including overseeing daily park operations, resolution of guest incidents, and coordinating emergency responses.
•Ensure Zoo is ready to open for special event and guest areas are properly cared for during event.
•Assist Manager with the oversight of the guest experience, including addressing onsite guest issues, maintaining adequate staffing, ensuring guest inquiries are responded to in a timely manner, and handle any guest concerns with appropriate strategies.
•Mentor team members on department operations and procedures in a positive manner, including conducting daily team briefings prior to opening.
Accountable for safe operations of all Zoo attractions, including performing continual safety checks
Report concerns directly to Manager or Department Director.

Requirements

•High school diploma required.
•Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.

Nice to have

•Previous experience operating POS systems within a sales environment.
