As an AV Technician at Coeur d'Alene Resort Convention Center, you will support event production by setting up, operating, and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment. You will ensure all AV needs are met by preparing equipment, assisting with setup and teardown, and providing technical support during events. You will collaborate with event coordinators and clients to meet event requirements, assist with equipment inventory and maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The role involves providing excellent customer service to event guests and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and maintain audio, video, lighting, and other technical equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently
  • Collaborate with event coordinators and clients to meet event requirements
  • Assist with equipment inventory and maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
  • Provide excellent customer service to event guests and staff

Requirements

  • Experience with audio-visual equipment and event production
  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality service
