First Year Event Coordinator

This Student Work Study position provides currently enrolled university students with part-time employment opportunities that support departmental operations while fostering professional growth and skill development. The role involves performing a variety of entry-level administrative, operational, customer service, research, or program support duties depending on departmental needs. Responsibilities may include assisting with office tasks, supporting events and programs, providing front-line customer service, data entry, filing, light research assistance, technology support, or other general support functions. The role is designed to complement the student's academic experience by promoting workplace readiness, accountability, communication skills, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Job Duties- Assists in the day to day maintenance and responsibilities of the assigned department
• Responsible for clerical functions including answering phones, filing, scheduling, organizing, etc.
• Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications- High School Diploma/GED
