The Event Marketing Specialist will lead the execution of 50+ events annually, transforming strategy into standout experiences that generate engagement, build pipeline, and elevate the PAR brand. This role involves sponsorship activation, executive support, lead management, and performance reporting, collaborating closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and senior leaders. The specialist will manage event budgets, evaluate sponsorship opportunities, and ensure every event delivers measurable impact.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage PAR's annual tradeshow and sponsorship calendar, helping determine which events deliver the greatest business value.
- Evaluate sponsorship opportunities and negotiate packages with event organizers and vendors.
- Conduct competitive event analysis to understand where competitors are investing and identify opportunities to strengthen PAR's presence.
- Ensure all sponsorship deliverables are fulfilled and maximize every investment beyond booth space.
- Manage event budgets and proactively communicate budget status, risks, and recommendations.
- Lead the end-to-end execution of 50+ tradeshows, conferences, sponsorships, and field events annually, delivering exceptional experiences that strengthen PAR's brand and support business objectives.
- Partner closely with the Senior Events Manager to execute a cohesive, high-impact events strategy across the portfolio.
- Collaborate with Sales to maximize event ROI through attendee engagement strategies, meeting planning, staffing, and post-event follow-up.
- Support executives and leaders onsite by coordinating schedules, speaking engagements, customer meetings, and event logistics.
- Ensure event leads are captured, routed, and measured effectively while tracking performance, pipeline contribution, and business impact.
- Partner with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Corporate Communications, PR, and Social Media teams to activate integrated event campaigns and deliver a consistent brand experience before, during, and after each event.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in event marketing, event management, or field marketing, preferably within B2B technology or SaaS.
- Proven success planning and executing tradeshows, conferences, sponsorships, or field marketing programs from strategy through execution.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and a high-volume event portfolio.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence partnering with executives, sales leaders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to influence, collaborate, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience managing event logistics, sponsorship deliverables, vendors, and budgets.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to execution.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20% for onsite event execution
Nice to have
- Experience with Swoogo, monday.com, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, or similar event management platforms.
- Familiarity with CRM and lead capture platforms.
- Comfortable using AI tools to improve event planning, reporting, and operational efficiency.
