Catering & Private Events Coordinator - Makers Union at Mosaic District (New Store Opening)

As the Catering & Private Events Coordinator at Makers Union, you will coordinate and execute private events, manage event leads and banquet equipment, and assist the Director of Catering & Private Events. When no events are taking place, you will serve and wait on tables, greet and seat guests, present menus, take orders, and deliver food and beverages. You will provide attentive and personalized service to enhance the guest experience, anticipate guest needs, handle payments, and maintain a tidy work area.

Responsibilities

• Manage and follow up on event leads.
• Coordinate and execute events.
• Manage banquet equipment.
• Assist the Director of Catering & Private Events as needed.
• Serve and wait on tables when no events are taking place.
• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Present menus, make recommendations, and take orders accurately.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Provide attentive and personalized service to enhance the guest experience.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond to inquiries or special requests.
• Handle payment transactions and maintain a tidy and organized work area.

Requirements

• Experience as a server in a fine dining experience.
• A great attitude and work ethic.
• Must be 21 or older to handle alcoholic beverages.
• Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and all holidays.
