As a Casual Conference and Events Assistant, you will support the delivery of conferences, meetings, banquets, and special events at a Hilton hotel. Your day-to-day tasks include preparing event spaces, assisting with event operations, serving refreshments, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and collaborating with colleagues to create memorable guest experiences. This role is ideal for those seeking flexible, casual work that fits around other commitments.

Responsibilities

Prepare event spaces: Set up meeting rooms, conference spaces, and banquet areas according to event requirements, ensuring all layouts and equipment are ready for guests.
Support event delivery: Assist with the smooth running of conferences, meetings, banquets, and special events by providing attentive service and responding to guest needs.
Serve refreshments: Deliver food and beverage service during events, ensuring guests receive prompt, professional, and friendly service throughout.
Maintain event standards: Monitor meeting and event spaces to ensure they remain clean, organised, and presented to the highest standard at all times.
Promote a safe environment: Keep all conference and event areas hazard-free, following health, safety, and operational procedures.
Work as part of a team: Collaborate with colleagues across the hotel to deliver exceptional events and create positive experiences for every guest.
