Catering and Events Manager - Capital Hilton

As a Catering & Events Manager at the Capital Hilton, you will oversee all aspects of selling local catering events and managing assigned conference groups for planning and execution. Your typical day involves executing high-quality events, designing creative menus, soliciting new client relationships, cultivating existing accounts, and guiding team performance to ensure consistent, high-level service. You will serve as the primary client contact to ensure smooth execution and an exceptional event experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality events: Manage event documentation, facilitate seamless transitions throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases of events, and serve as the primary client contact to ensure smooth execution, proactive issue resolution, and an exceptional event experience
• Create exceptional experiences: Design creative menus and catered events that maximize revenue and elevate the guest experience
• Grow catering and events market segments: Solicit new client relationships, develop proposals, and negotiate contracts to close new business
• Cultivate client relationships: Maintain strong connections with existing corporate and social accounts to secure repeat business
• Guide team performance: Communicate client requirements, provide direction, and offer feedback and coaching to ensure consistent, high-level service
