Luxury Catering and Events Manager

As a Luxury Catering & Events Manager, you will oversee all aspects of planning and execution for complex events, from soliciting new clients and developing proposals to negotiating contracts and closing new business. You will cultivate strong relationships with existing corporate and social accounts to secure repeat business, design creative menus and catered events that maximize revenue, and manage event documentation to ensure seamless transitions throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases. Serving as the primary client contact, you will facilitate smooth execution and proactive issue resolution, while guiding team performance by communicating client requirements and providing direction and coaching to ensure consistent, high-level service.

Responsibilities

• Grow catering and events market segments: Solicit new client relationships, develop proposals, and negotiate contracts to close new business
• Cultivate client relationships: Maintain strong connections with existing corporate and social accounts to secure repeat business
• Create exceptional experiences: Design creative menus and catered events that maximize revenue and elevate the guest experience
• Execute complex events: Manage event documentation, facilitate seamless transitions throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases of events, and serve as the primary client contact to ensure smooth execution, proactive issue resolution, and an exceptional event experience
• Guide team performance: Communicate client requirements, provide direction, and offer feedback and coaching to ensure consistent, high-level service
